Easter Monday in Leeuwarden/NL

A tradition for every hardcore shower is the Show in Leeuwarden/NL. All the way in the north of the Netherlands. Driving up is 330 Km and down also 330 Km. That doesn’t work without an hotel. You get older…… Our two teenagers, King and Lasse came along even as Eef Martens as Co-Driver and for the good mood. Hotels are always exciting for 2 young males, but they behaved perfectly. “King”, the OES-male opened and won his Title, due to the fact that he won the Youth Class for the 3rd time. After the OES it was to the Beardies and Lasse (Lärkängen’s at Firsticebears) had 4 strong competitors in the Youth Class. He won this Class and I was over the moon for joy with his first Youth CAC in the Netherlands. The judge would have loved to give him the Res-CAC, but found him with his 11 months to young. However, she insured me of the fact that he has a wonderful career in front of him. Inge Schreurs with her June made the day perfect. They won the Intermediate Class and after this had to compete with a real strong field from the Open and Champions Class and won the CACIB, CAC and became Best Bitch. I was over the moon for joy and oh so proud with Inge and June (Firstprizebears Jade Jagger). All in all an excellent day with pleasant company, who was also used as “personal photographer”. Her sister Firstprizebears Jackie O avec Snikkles, won a second place at the Bearded Collie Easter Show in Lincolnd, judged by Mrs. M. Harkins.
