Eindhoven/NL and Genk/B

In the beginning of February, the Show of Eindhoven is held. It is taking place in the Beursgebouw, in the center of Eindhoven. Due to the fact that the hall is not that big, the Show is divided over three days. As usual, it was our turn again on Friday and that means lots of traffic in the early morning hours and vice versa in the evening. Parking is Always expensive, but so practical and only 15 meters from the entrance away: 14 euro for parkingfee…. That offcourse raises the question: “Than  why do you enter?” The answer is very simple: because the judges are always good and no fuzz around the show itself. Just a solid show.
Mrs. Cindy Kerssemeijer from the Netherlands judges the Beardies for the 3rd time in her own country. It was 1,5 years ago, that I had shown Lasse under her, when he was still a young male. This time I wanted to show her our girls. Last years at this show,  “Schoko” (Firstprizebears Liz Taylor), won her first CAC out of the Youth Class and became Best Bitch with Mrs. Runderkamp. And she did it again: Best Bitch, CACIB and CAC. Our “Prada” (Firstprizebears Meryl Streep) was allowed to start in the Youth Class for the first time. She is 10 months old en still impressed from everything going on at a Show. In spite that, she could convince the Judge, won the Youth Class and became Res-Best Bitch. More is not possible? Oh yes! In the Open Class, Inge Schreurs won with June (Firstprizebears Jade Jagger) and obtained the Res-CACIB. The Champion Class was won by Ethel Somer with her Bitch, a descendant of two Firstprizebear parents. Harry had taken the day off, to accompany me and that was good, because I could not show two dogs simultaneously in the ring. So he had to do it and show “Schoko”. The result is known and Harry walked out of the ring, with an enormous smile on his face. Thanks to Anette Oostervink, for being so kind and making photo’s available to us.

Vicky van Tiggelen was at the Nat-Show of Genk/B. Here, Mr. Spruyt judged the Bearded Collies. Her Ch. “Firstprizebears Just Beat-it” became Best Bitch. SHe also won the CAC and with that had fullfilled all conditions for the Belgian Championship Title. Congratulations to Vicky, well done.

The Vanbossche family send us some good messages. Their “Bluebear  Ole”  (Firstprizebears Lucky Luck) has perfect hips and received a HD-A score. His eyes where also checked and found immaculate.

Mrs. Ulrike Kuhn, had been making X-Rays of her beautiful “Nana” and had received a B1. Nana’s official name is:  “Firstprizebears Milwaukee”
