Int- Show Rotterdam

 Momentarily there is a lot to do. Every weekend there is news from shows about we like to write.

On Sunday we had one of my favourite Shows: The Show of Rotterdam/NL. There was a change in judges and Mr Vincent O’Brien from Ireland judged the Beardies. Since more than 30 years I show every year in Rotterdam. Unfortunately Lilli was placed in the Open Class, because apparentlyt the proof of her Championstitel had not been received. Wouldn’t it have been nice if, someone who shows here for more than 30 years, would have been contacted and asked for the Championstitel? Lilli is a famous dog with many Championstitles, who where also listed in the catalogue, but in the Open Class. Unfortunately the organisation doesn’t go for the motto: „Custumer is King“, in this case the exhibitor.

Not completely satisfied with the fact that „Lilli“ (Ch. Firstprizebears Helen Hunt), became 2nd in the Open Clas with Res-CACIB and Res-CAC, but somtimes silence is golden. Behind „Lilli“, ended Jolande Postma with Firstprizebears Honeybrook on a 3rd place.

Eef Martens travelled with me to Rotterdam and so did her beautiful „Guffie“ (Glanyard Bay Mac Guffie a daughter of Ch. Firstprizebears Hitchkock and Firstprizebears Eureka). I had the pleasure to show this beautiful young lady and we ended on the 1st place.

Five year old male “Firstprizebears Frostproof“owned by P. Soeters, was shown fort the first time in the Open Class and received a very good, because he is too thin. In my eyes a beautiful beardie with the correct length and perfect movement.

The Youth Class was well represented! Four Bitches of which 3 from the our family-clan. Marja Eilers-Ojevaar came with „Dodo“ (Clan of Storks Jahtzee). She won at an age of only 9 months old. She is a daughter of  Ch. Firstprizebears Enfield. The 2nd and 3rd place were also filled by two of his daughters. Ingrid Schreurs, who showed her  Firstprizebears Jade Jagger for the first time ended on a  2^nd place and on  the 3rd place  ended Marieke van Wouw with her Firstprizebears Jane Fonda. These two girls are from our „Donna Summer“. Our hapiness was enormous.
