Israel, Spain, Slovenia and The Netherlands

Although our own Beardies where enjoying a long deserved weekend holiday on the couch, other FPB made sure that the champagne corks where popping. Lets start in Ciudad Real/Spain. Here, our spanish Superstar “Lee” ( Super-Multi-Ch. Firstprizebears Enfield) won. Owners Alberto Sanchez and Cristina Andres, became at a double show, on both days Best Of Breed. By way of parenthesis, he won Group 1 on both days. On days 1 the Portuguese Pedro Delrue judged the Breed and Group 1. During the second day. Mrs. Ilona Onstenk-Schenk from the Netherlands judged the Breed and the Group. Lee became 8 years old last December and still is a dream to look at.

In Givat Haim/Israel, there was also a double show held. On Friday 04 October the National and on Saturday the 05th the International. Paz Davidovich had a mega successful weekend with her “Firstprizebears Lorne Green” Friday he became Best Of Breed and Best In Group 1 under the Spanish Judge Juan Nevada. On Saturday the Canadian Mr. R. Pagette judged the Breed. Here, “Lorne” also became Best Of Breed and also won the Group. “Lorne” is now ISRAELI Champion and that with only 18 months. He is Champion number 91 in our kennelhistory. The countdown to the 100st Firstprizebear Champion has started. I am curious, if it will take 3 or 4 years. In 2014 we have our 25th Kennel Anniversary. The little Marilyne Monroe” became Best Puppy of the Breed and was selected amongst the last 6 for BIS under Judge Yohai Barak Lifac, from Israel.

In Koper/Slovenia, Ch. Firstprizebears Kim Karnes“, was here together with Fernando and Sergio. Here was another two day Show. On Saturday, Mr. Stefan Sinko judged and “Kim” got the CACIB, CAC and became Best Of Breed. During the 2nd day it didn’t go that well. Kim was judged by the Slovenian Saso Noval and got the CAC and Res-CACIB. We are waiting for pictures from Kim and  Fernando.

In Zwolle/NL, the Beardies where judged by Mr. Mark Wibier, a Dutchman, who is living in Germany. He had a large number of entries and had to judge very good dogs. He judged completely to my taste and I was more than satified with the results. His Best Male is a son of our Firstprizebears Chattoga and bred in the United Kingdom. The Open Class was won by our own Inge Schreurs with her June (Firstprizebears Jade Jagger) and got the Res-CACIB and Res-CAC. Inge has shown June perfectly. I am proud on both of you. Here we are also waiting for a picture.
