Salzburg is oh so beautiful

This years World Winner Show was held in Salzburg/Austria. Many, many years ago, I visited this city already once and was impressed. My dear friend, Lenka Klimova, was also here together with her sister Hanka and her 4 year old son Lukas. Friday we had some time before the Show stress would start and paid a visit to Salzburg. The weather was gorgeous and it was just heavenly.

We had a few beautiful hours together. What made Salzburg special this time, were the many pure bred dogs who where walking down town together with their owners. Nothing special to us, but for many others it was just amazing.

In the afternoon we visited the Hotel Sacher, laying on the banks of the Salzach river and drank a big brown, a Einspänner and another coffee. Here in Austria it is a piece of art, to order a normal cup of coffee. Ofcourse we had to taste the Kaiserschmarrn.

on the other side of the river you’ll find the Residenz Fountain.

and another couple of streets further, in the Getreidegasse, stands the yellow house were Mozart was born. A wonderful opportunity to drink another coffee.
