Since 2007 I live in Maaseik, Belgium. In 1988, I started, what would later become one of the most famous Bearded Collie kennel besides my already famous Old English Sheepdog breeding. The name Firstprizebears is the result of an idiotic idea, which we found whilst searching for the most perfect Kennelname. We didn't want to use our already famous Kennelname we have for the Bobtails.
We don't have our own Bearded Collie bitch in our house any longer since 2019. In recent years we did a single litter with 'borrowed' bitches, but in the future we will mainly focus on breeding Old English Sheepdogs.
