Autumn Show in Luxemburg

Last Saturday we where at the Autumn Show on the Kirchberg in Luxemburg. Since 1975 I drive to the shows. In Spring and in Autumn. A standard part on our activity agenda, if the judges are okay. To our big joy, our good friend Lenka Klimova from the Czech Republic also came over. She was accompanied by her son Lukas and Denisa with het OES “Spicy”. Lenka had her beautiful male Ch. Kaspian Kiaora”  and her Sky Terrier with her. In the evening we met at our hotel and had a nice evening together. Judge for the 30 Beardies was Dr. Heiko Wagner from Germany. I had never had him as a judge and was curious to see what he was going to do to with our breed. We had just entered our “Lasse ” (Lärkängens at Firsticebears) in the Intermediate Class. Lenka was the first who had to go into the ring and won the well occupied Championsclass with her male. Immediately after came “Lasse’  and won the Intermediate Class. After the Open Class was judged we where excited for the CACIB. Dr. Wagner chose “Ch. Kaspian Kiaora” and I fully agreed. Than the 2nd male from the Champion Class came into the ring and we fought for the Res-CACIB. The movement finally decided the judgement of Mr. Wagner. He gave the Res-CACIB to our Lasse and I was more than satisfied. Lenka’s male is already a International Champion and due to this the CACIB moves on and Lasse  got his first CACIB. After all Beardies where judged, Lenka had to go back into the ring one more time for the Best of Breed. This went to a bitch from Hungary, something I personally thought it was a pity. I thought that “Kaspian” had deserved it more. In spite, we where more that satisfied and except for this one decision by Mr. Wagner, we agreed.
