Int-Show Genk/B
Genk in Belgian Limburg, is 22 Km away from our home town. Twice per year, a CAC and a CACIB Show is organnized in the Limburg Hall. Mrs. Gabriela Ridarcikova from Slovenia, judged the 25 entered Bearded Collies. It was a judge I had not seen and never heard of before and this was the decisive factor that made me participate. As Genk is only 25 minutes driving by car, I could affort a later start to the show. 08.15 Hrs. That is feasible, when having 2 brushed and groomed Beardies in your lugage. It where Lorne and Prada who had been entered. At 10.15 hrs, I stood in the ring with “Lorne” (Ch. Firstprizebears Lorne Green). There where 3 participants in the Champion Class. Lorne with his age of only 2 years, was by far the youngest of the three males and became 3rd. The judge told me, that she liked Lorne alot, but that he is not ready yet.
“Prada” (Firstprizebears Meryl Streep), with her 15 months, started in the Intermediate Class for the first time. This one she won and also became Best Bitch with CACIB and CAC, against the dogs from the Open- and Champion Class. There where 15 bitches, of which 2 Champion, 4 Open and 3 from the Intermediate Class. So a well occupied Class. “Prada” didn’t care and couldn’t understand why I was so delighted.
The husband of Deborah Raquet, was so kind and made sme beautiful pictures of my dogs.
