Marja and Dodger

On Saturday we not only had the Show in Luxemburg, but also the yearly Clubmatch of the Dutch Bearded Collie Club. We had to make a choise and because of our OES King went to Luxemburg. BUT….. Marja Eilers-Ojevaar with her Dodge had to keep the name up. Vicky van Tiggelen had the courage to enter under the lady who judged the bitches. Mrs. Kim Evans from the UK didn’t leave a permanent impression with me, when judging in Belgium 2 years ago. Vicky knew this. She won with her Ch. Firstprizebears Just Beat-it the Champion Class, but nothing further. The Kennelname of Mrs. Evans is Treebeard.

Mr. Johann Anderson/Zweden, from the wellknown Kennel Alistairs Bearded Collie, judged the males and we where curious to know what he was going to do. He judged perfectly, sound, strong and consisting. CHAPEAU!

Marja, with Dodger won out of the Youth Class and the Referee was needed to take the decision who was going to become Best Of Breed. That was Mrs. Erica Bakker and she was also impressed and convinced by the beauty of the Dutch Yout Champion “Clan of Storks Kaliber”. Why we are so happy? Well, Dodger is a child of our own Ch. “Firstprizebears Hitchkock” and looks like him so much. Congratulations to Marja and Mark.
