News in May

During the first weekend in May, we where surprised by the fact that we have our 99th Firstprizebears Champion. Via Facebook, we received a message by Tatiana Starikova from Russia, that “Firstprizebears Kokakola“, had won the Title of Polish Champion on a Show in Dobre Miasto. The judge at this Show was Mrs.A, Jaskiwicz/PL “Pepsi”, as the dog is called, was owned once by Denis, who was killed in his appartment in Moscow last year. His two Bearded Collies, he had from us, both where in the appartment at the time of the crime. Thank God, both have found new families and “Kokakola”  is now successfully on the way to shows again.
This was a wonderful happy end. He is the 17th Champion son of Alberto Sanches’ his “Multi Ch. Firstprizebears Enfield” and our own sweet “Smokey” Ch. Firstprizebears Gunsmoke.

Also, Kataryna Bondar, was on the road again. This time, together with her 2 dogs to the 2 day Show of Moldavia. Off course she had taken “Firstprizebears Neil Diamond” with her, who collected 2 new titles, being: Moldavian Youth Champion and Middle East Junior Champion. Besides that, he became Best Of Breed on both days (he is only 13 months old!). On the first day he became 3rd in the FCI Group and at day 2, Res in FCI Group 1.

On this Sunday, the 3rd of May the yearly Club Show for the Pastoral Group was held. The Beardies where judged by Mr. Pedersen from Danmark. Oscar Large was here with his “Matias” and won the Res-CAC. We are very happy to see, that this gorgeous brown male is back in the ring.

On 17-05 a Pecialty Show was held in Dallim in the wonderful Mecklenburg For Pommerania – Germany. This is almost in the front yard of the Gramman-Hellwig family. Therefore there was no question if they where going to show with Mr. Fricke.

For their new Brown alias Firstprizebears Navaho, it was the first Show in the Youngster Class with 7 months and received a Very Prommising 2nd Place.

With the success of Mrs. Zimmerman, we have been very pleased. It was the very first time for as welll Mrs. Zimmereman as well as for her dog and than becoming first in the Youth Class is EXCELLENT!!! But Firstprizebears Naomi Watts already has more succesful brothers and sisters, as Neil Daimond and Nora Jones, so the expectations where high. Congratulations to our “Mac Pom” CREW.

There is however another successful sister out of this litter of Ch. Lärkängens at Firsticebears and our double World Winner Ch. Firstprizebears Helen Hunt, being Firstprizebears Nancy Sinatra. She lives with the Makoi family in Hungary. In Februari she was shown at the Int-Show of Budapest and became Junior BOB on both days, under the judges Ildiko Muszlai and Robert Kotlare.
