Portugal, Sweden, Hungary and Netherlands

During the last weekend, several Firstprizebear Beardies participated successfully at various shows. High up north, Anni Johansson visited the Show in Pitea/Sweden with her Uno (Nordic-Int-S-N-Fin-Ch. Firstprizebears Colorado). Mr Shaun Watson from Cyprus judged here. Uno became 2nd Best Male, but also Best Veteran and was placed in the Veterans of all Breeds Group amongst the last 6. “Uno” is nine years old.

In Lissabon/Portugal the two days Lissabon Winner was held. Alberto and Cristina had enetered Lee (Super-Multi Ch. Firstprizebears Enfield) and Matias (Firstprizebears Larry King). At the first day Mr. Catala judged and Lee became Best Of Breed, Lissabon Winner and Matias became Best Junior Of Breed. Mr. Borges from Portugal juged Group 1 and placed Lee (Enfield) as 2nd of the Group. At the second day there was another Show which was judged by Mr. Kuzlij. Lee also won here, however without the BOB and also Matias became Best Junior Of Breed.

As a reward, this day, “Lee” received a new foorball. He can play with this for hours.

Hungary is the homebase of the six months old Firstprizebears Levi Strauss. Owner is Agnes Makoi. They where with Levi in Velence with judge Mr. Vilmos Kardos?HUN. Levi did extremely well, did what he had to do and became Res Best In Show of all puppies.

The Int-Show of Echt/NL is only on a distance of 6 Km from Maaseik and is my club, where I go to on a monday evening for the ring trainings. It is an Outdoor Show and as said the weather was gorgeous and at the Show in Echt it is always a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Mrs. Onstenk-Schenk/NL judged 25 Beardies. Around 13.30 hrs it was our turn. At that moment it was very hot on this beautiful summer day. 5 Firstprizebear Bearded Collies had been entered, who all got placed. Nette Huykens was in the Puppy Class with her 6 months old Wietse (Firstprizebears Luke Perry) and became 2nd. Roland Mussche started in the Youth Class with the beautiful Firstprizebears Lehermann. These two are not a team yet and that was something that was unfortunately seen in the placement: a Very good 4. The Verbakel family showed up with their 2 Firstprizebears. Firstprizebears King of Pop became Ex1 in the Intermediate Classe with Res-CAC and Res-CACIB and their bitch Firstprizebears Linda Evans (a litter sister of our owwn Schoko) got a 4th place in the Youth Class. “Schoko” (Firstprizebears Liz Taylor) was shown for the first time in the Intermediate Class. She is now 15 months old and had to recognize that she could not beat the Bitch from the Champion Class and received the Res-CAC and Res-CACIB. Last in line was Roland Mussche again with the 10 years old and beautiful Ch. Firstprizebears Clinton and became Best Veteran. Eef Martens was once again so kind to take the pictures.
